With an A rating from that National Rifle Association, I am a
firm believer in our Right to Bear Arms and strongly believe that
it is our responsibility to guard this personal freedom. Most
recently, the Supreme Court barely passed the DC vs. Heller decision
overturning the DC handgun ban in its 5-4 decision. The Second
Amendment, as you and I know, almost vanished for the residents
of the District of Columbia. This slim victory in favor of the
Second Amendment shows us that constant vigilance is also a requirement
of freedom.
Protecting
marriage and family
I believe that marriage is a sacred union between one man and one
woman.
Defending the culture of life
With a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee, I stand firm in the fundamental belief that life begins at conception.
