Sam
Johnson on Abiding by the Constitution

For
the sake of our children and our grandchildren, Washington must
return to the Constitution that our Forefathers fought for.
Americans
are sick of tired of being bullied into bailout after bailout,
nationalizing our banks, more government expansion, and a federal
takeover of our healthcare system. This is not freedom and free
enterprise, and it is essential to reinvigorate the American people’s
passion for the liberties of smaller, smarter government and self
reliance.
It is time
to get back to the basics of limited government and abiding by
the United States Constitution. I am proud to see that the Tea
Party Movement has energized Americans across the Nation. Tea
Parties are gaining such momentum because they start in local
communities, not in the halls of Congress.
Freedom is
not free, and constant vigilance is a requirement to preserve
the liberties we value so dearly. I am certain that this movement
will change America for the better by fighting to maintain our
core principles that were put in place by our Founding Fathers.
